The origins of Gay & Lesbian Pride month can be traced back to a turbulent week-end in N.Y. June 1969 at a gay bar called Stonewall Inn which was eventually declared a national landmark and has been cited as the birthplace of the modern gay movement. Joining Culture Shocks are two members of that community to celebrate and talk about diversity with a new book, 50 Ways to Support Lesbian and Gay Equality.
